After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Ernakulam Railway Station to board Vande Bharath Train to Calicut. On arrival at Calicut,you will be transferred to Wayanad. Afternoon for a walk through tea plantation. Overnight at the Resort.
After breakfast, you will go for a guided village walk followed by a traditional village lunch. Afternoon visit Edakkal Caves. Evening at leisure at the resort. Overnight at the Resort. Edakkal caves are two natural rock formations believed to have been formed by a large split in a huge rock. The carvings inside are extremely beautiful. A trek up the majestic Ambukuthi Hills is required to reach these caves. The diversity of the engravings suggest that the Edakkal caves were inhabited several times at different points in history. The oldest among them date back to 6000 B.C, to the age of Stone Age man.
Today, you will be transferred to Calicut Railway Station to board your train to Cochin
